About Guillermo Rocha, MD
Dr Guillermo Rocha has served the local community since 1984. Has served in several positions in local hospitals as Chairman of Medicine, Chief of Quality Assurance, Quality Assurance regional committee with Champus, and as president of a primary care group of physicians. He currently serves on the Governing Board of Rio Grande Valley ACO- the top ACO in the nation. He recently opened an office in Somerset, TX where is serving that local community, and the surrounding the communities which do not have physician services.
Dr Guillermo Rocha received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, TX. He then attended medical school at CEUX in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and later completed his clinical training in hospitals in Philadelphia, Trenton, NJ, Waco, and Corpus Christi. After medical school, he attended Rush Medical School in Chicago where he completed a fifth pathway program. His residency training was at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where he completed a categorical Internal Medicine residency. After completing his residency, Dr Rocha and his wife moved to San Antonio to start his private practice in Internal Medicine.
